 La Gomera is a small
and unspoiled island close to Tenerife which can be reached by ferry
in aprox. 1hour .It is one of the Canary Islands, which is still not
overloaded with turism. The Gomera Dive Resort is based in Playa
Santiago at the Hotel Jardin Tecina in the southern part of the
island. The bays are sheltered from winds, waves and currents and we
find best conditions for diving courses and relaxed diving, but also
for experienced divers, underwater photographers, diving groups and
clubs. The south part of La Gomera offers a great variety of
divesites within short distance from the center.
 A
saltwater pool is next to the Center and therefore, we have perfect
conditions for our PADI diving courses. You will find complete equipments to
rent at the Dive-Center and we also have a classroom
and all the facilities for your personal equipment. For diving we use 12 liter steel
tanks.
Prices for diving depend on high and low season, quantity of group members
etc.

Information and diving: daily between 9.00 and 10 am at the center.

Daily at 10 a.m. we leave from the base with our small bus to the
harbour of Playa Santiago. From there we reach with our dive boats (each
for 11 divers) one of the almost 15 dive locations along the coast.
Both boats have comfortable ladders to climb up

Saftey
We do everything to make your diving as safe as possible. There is a re-compression at the university hospital
in Tenerife. In the unlikly event of an accident, the diver would be transported
to the chamber with a helicopter.
Please check your personal insurances, normally they do not cover these
costs.
We recommend that you have a special dive insurance, which will cover costs
in case of an accident all over the world. DAN
At the Dive Center you also have the possibility to buy dive
insurances for 1 week or for a whole year
